Take orally, with food, especially the evening dose. Shake the bottle well before use. Measure the dose accurately using the provided measuring device.

Ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) acts by increasing the hydrophilicity of the bile acid pool, displacing endogenous toxic bile acids. It also reduces cholesterol synthesis and secretion into bile, facilitating cholesterol gallstone dissolution. UDCA has cytoprotective, anti-apoptotic, and immunomodulatory effects on hepatocytes.

• •Hypersensitivity to Ursodeoxycholic Acid or any component of the syrup
• •Acute inflammation of the gallbladder or biliary tract
• •Occlusion of the biliary tract (common bile duct or cystic duct)
• •Frequent episodes of biliary colic
• •Calcified radiopaque gallstones
• •Impaired contractility of the gallbladder

Store below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Keep the bottle tightly closed.

The most common symptom of overdose is diarrhea. In case of overdose, symptomatic treatment and rehydration should be provided. There is no specific antidote.

Pregnancy Category B. Studies in animals have shown no evidence of harm to the fetus, but there are limited well-controlled studies in pregnant women. Use only if clearly needed and the potential benefit outweighs the potential risk. UDCA is excreted into breast milk in very small amounts; generally considered safe during lactation, but caution is advised.
